Q.  Do we have to be involved – is it a working ship?
A.  No the ship is very much as you would expect a cruise ship to be, you can be as spoilt as you like.  However if you would like to have a go you can help pull the masts up, climb the rigging, learn to create sailors knots in the ropes and watch as they mend any tears in the masts with the massive sewing machine – she photo.  Star Clippers have their own crew, but they do allow passengers to help at set times. This is not a working holiday

Q. What is the food like on Star Clipper?
A.  The food on board is of a very good standard and will offer you a buffet breakfast and lunch with both hot and cold food available and in the evening a 4 course evening meal with a good selection is offered.  I found the food to be of a very high standard and enjoyed every evening.  You will also be offered afternoon snacks on the deck and a midnight snack if you have room for it all

Q. Is it a small ship, as we only like small ships?
Star Clipper and Star Flyer take just 170 people when the ship is full and Royal Clipper will take 220 when full, so yes they are super small ships.  The ambience on the ship provides a friendly and informal feeling throughout.  Lazy days in stunning locations and with great new friends

Q. How much do the water sports cost?
A.  You will be pleased to know that all the water sports are included throughout your cruise.  A fabulous incentive on this holiday.  So whilst you are in port why not take a trip on the ships zodiacs and enjoy the beach and water sports.  Kayaking, Snorkelling, dingy sailing, windsurfing etc.

Q.  What is the currency on board?
A.  Euros is the currency on board.  You will be required to give a credit card imprint prior to boarding the ship and all your spending whilst on board will be added to your cabin account.  Your final bill will be in Euros, but you can pay in £’s, Euros, Dollars cash or indeed with your credit or debit card
